TCS Shortlisted 708 Candidates from KIIT in a Single Day

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneswar has scripted a placement record in the country. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has shortlisted 708 candidates in a single day from an Orissa based university during the campus placements.

Such records have been made in eastern India where a single company has hired so many students during campus placements on a single day. Records have also been made in terms of percentage in entire country as well.

Shortlisted candidates belong to the Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology and Master of Computer Application streams and they will pass out in 2012. Other companies who have shortlisted more than 100 students from KIIT during the exercise held Sunday include Shapoorji Pallonji, TATA Steel, Atkins, SAP and Deloitte.
