The results for RET or Research Eligibility Test conducted on February 11, 2013 is expected to be announced March 5, 2013.
RET is an entrance exam for admissions to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered by various departments of Bhasha-Bhavana(Visva Bharati, Birbhum).The departments include:
- Arabic
- Urdu
- Islamic study & Persian
- Bengali
- Chinese
- DEOMEL
- Japanese
- Hindi & Functional Hindi
- Indo-Tibetian studies
- Odia and Sanskrit
- Pali & Prakrit.
Students should acquire the given below qualifying marks for admissions to the courses at the institute:
- 75(GRE=25+SRE=50) out of 150(GRE=50+SRE=100) for general OBC candidates
- 60(GRE=20+SRE=40) out of 150(GRE=50+SRE=100) for reserved category (ST/SC/PH) candidates
