Mystory@Anil Mishra: How my college education impacted my career
I attended J P Shroff Arts College, and undoubtedly, my college life was awesome. The Professors of the college are extremely intelligent and do not focus only on bookish knowledge, but also teach how to be practical in life. I was a psychology student and currently I am working as a Sales Manager in a bank. The psychology lessons learnt at college benefit me immensely in my work profile now. I can easily evaluate the mindset of the customer – this helps me ascertain whether he/she is needy is not.
Talking about my career, I have always faced a lot of challenges. My career life has been full of ups and downs but I never gave up on my aspirations and dreams. There were times when situations and people both were against me, but I did not lose hope. I fought against the odds and today I am a Sales Manager in HDFC. I believe that one should not love his company, but must only love his work. Â
