Perks of a university life.
Placements: I am pursuing a B.A. LL.B. from University of Jammu. There are 80 students in my class. This university provides time-to-time best internship offers. Like last year, there was offer from CID and CBI departments for the internship with remuneration for every month.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure with the installation of smart boards, which is air conditioned. They also have canteens. The law school building consists of three floors. One drawback is that there are no lifts for handicaps. There is proper sanitation. Plus, hostels are near the university.
Faculty: At the end of every semester, exams are held. Out of 5 subjects, 4 are 100 marks, and one subject is 80+20, that is theory and practical, respectively. Teachers are cooperative and helping. They discuss everything with students. They take care of each student.

The course fee is normal, faculty is good, and it is also a renowned university in India.
Placements: 70% of students were placed. The highest package was 2 LPA for our course. There were no recruitments happened yet. We did not get any internships from the university. There were no companies came here for any recruitment during my degree. There should have been roles offered by the university, but there were nothing yet.
Infrastructure: The library was not too big but somehow manageable. Classrooms were average. The canteen was also average, and sports facilities were average as well. The hostel was average, and its infrastructure was quite old. There were no medical facilities available there yet.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful. The pass percentage was 45%. The curriculum was average to good. The semester exams were quite difficult. There was no cheating during exams. Exams were conducted in a healthy manner. Teachers were quite knowledgeable and qualified. The quality of teaching was good.
Other: I loved this profession. I was good at criminal law and wanted to be a criminal lawyer. The best thing about my course was that from it, we learned how the government runs, what laws for citizens are, and many other things that a common person should know. I just wished relevant seminars were conducted properly from time to time. Moot courts should have been held so that students could get many ideas about the subject.

It was osum I'm going to miss this university it has developed my overall personality.
Placements: Working with senior-most law scholars working with senior judges of bar association Jammu. Working at a private association of judges in Jammu according to me starting a new career in law means you need to experience for that you have to work hard with senior judges.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in campus is not available till now Classrooms are the best in class with a high class infrastructure for students Library? Facility is available to all the students for 24 hours Medical despensery is available in campus Canteen facility is available in campus with good food.
Faculty: Talking about teachers, they are not only good but highly intellectual too. They are knowledge who provide a good deep concept regarding everything. Student to faculty ratio is about 1:30 approximately We get our exposure by visiting court. The course curriculum was very useful.
Other: Many curricular activities are there for students such as open debates, sports activities etc Also huge strike demands.

Overall it is an average institution.
Placements: There are very few placements done through this institution itself we have to find it on our own the university and the department are not going to help you in placements after doing law you have to look for internships and placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but there is no air-conditioning facility here we have a good library and computer rooms but no Wi-Fi is provided to the students it is only provided to scholars. Medical facilities are their classrooms are good with good sitting capacity.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good while the other are just average but they will teach you the whole syllabus within time but we, will have to study on our own from books and there are court visits police station visits chamber visits in our course studies.
Other: There are no fests or tours in this department except freshers party and farewell party crowd is good.

Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India.
