Tips to Prepare for CUET UG 2026 Chemistry Exam

Candidates planning to appear for the Chemistry exam for UG 2026 admissions must take help from the tips given below to prepare well for the CUET 2026 exam.

  • First of all, understand the CUET Chemistry Syllabus and CUET exam pattern so you know what topics from Class 11 and 12 will be covered in the CUET exam and prepare a study plan accordingly.
  • Once you know the topics and exam pattern, gather the study material, including NCERT books, CUET guidebooks, and online websites providing study material for the exam.
  • Now prepare a study plan for yourself and give 2-3 hours to chemistry daily. Make sure to add time for revision regularly so you do not forget the concept at the time of the exam.
  • Once you have learned the concepts, practice CUET Previous Years’ Question Papers and CUET Mock Tests. With this, you can know what type of questions are asked and from which topics most questions are there.
  • Now you can identify your areas of strength and weakness. Based on your analysis, focus on the chapters you have a strong hold on and leave out the rest if they do not carry high weightage in the exam. Check the CUET Chemistry Chapter-wise weightage of every topic you are covering. If you are weak in a topic carrying high weightage, improve your performance by taking help from tutors, friends, or study groups.

  • Preparing for chemistry is mostly about learning the formulae by heart. If you understand a concept well, then you can easily memorize the formulae. Use flash cards to revise them regularly.
