IIM Trichy final placement: Rise in highest salary by 22.1%

The Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy) wrapped the final placements, and this year an increase of 22.1% has been recorded – this is an increase of 14.9% in the average remuneration over the last year.

About 90 companies were a part of the placement drive, and the total number of offers made was 102. These stats are apart from the pre-placement interviews and pre-placement offers (PPIs/PPOs), which were 22 in number. Apart from domestic offers, students also received international offers from the APAC region.

Placement summary

Last year, the highest package that was offered was Rs 19.50 lakh, whereas this year there has been a rise in the package and the highest package offered was Rs 23.81 lakh. The average compensation package this year was Rs 13.01 lakh – this was Rs 11.32 lakh the previous year.

Among the recruiters, there were names like Cognizant Business Consulting, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, RBS, Mahindra, Vodafone, Yes Bank, and SBI Mutual Funds, to name a few.

Students of IIM Trichy have bagged profiles like senior business analyst, product manager, functional consultant, and consulting and analytics just to name a few. The roles were offered in domains like manufacturing, E-commerce, telecom, and BFSI, among many others.
