TSICET 2016 conducted today
TSICET 2016
The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) was today conducted at 16 test centres across the state.
The 2.5 hour exam was held between 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Scores of students appeared for the written test conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.
Key to the exam will be revealed two days after the exam on May 21, 2016. In case of discrepancy, the candidates must file Submission of Objection on Preliminary Key.
The last date of Submission of Objection on Preliminary Key is May 24, 2016. The final results will be announced on May 31, 2016.
As per the marks obtained, the candidates will be given State-wide ranks. The rank obtained in TSICET-2016 is valid for admission into MBA/MCA Course (Full Time / Part Time / Evening / Distance Mode) of all universities in Telangana State for the academic year 2016-2017 only.
The question paper, consisted of 200 questions carrying 1 mark each, was divided into three sections--analytical ability, mathematical ability and communication ability.
Candidates who clear the written test will be invited for counselling for admissions to various Telangana colleges. The dates for counselling have not been announced yet.
