AIIMS MBBS 2012 entrance exam on June 1
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will be conducting a common entrance examination for admission to MBBS course tomorrow (June 1) for the academic session 2012-13.

Exam Pattern and syllabus
The syllabus of the AIIMS MBBS 2012 examination is based on Class XI and XII syllabi of Physics, Chemistry, Biology of CBSE Board or equivalent, apart from questions on General Knowledge.
The entrance test will have Objective Type Questions/Multiple Choice Questions. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and 30 minutes. The paper will have 60 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition to this, 20 questions shall be asked to test the candidate's General Knowledge. Thus, the total number of questions shall be 200.
Cut off
The minimum expected cut-off marks against each category for AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2012 are given here:
- General Category Candidates: 50%
- OBC Category Candidates: 45%
- SC/ST Category Candidates: 40%
