NEET PG 2021: NBE to reopen registration window from August 16; check details here
NBE has announced to open the NEET PG 2021 registration and edit window from August 16. Those candidates who will be completing their internship from July 1 to September 30, will be able to apply in this time frame. The exam is scheduled to be held on September 11.
The National Board of Examinations will reopen NEET PG 2021 registration window from August 16. The official notification said that those who are completing their internship from 01.07.2021 to 30.09.2021 and are fulfilling all other criteria as prescribed in the Information Bulletin of NEET-PG 2021, will be able to apply for NEET PG 2021 exam during this time period. The registration and correction window will be closed on August 20. Candidates who seek admission into PG courses can make registration on the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in during the given time frame.
“Such candidates shall be able to choose the preferred state for taking the examination. NBEMS shall allocate them the test city as per availability within the state chosen,” the notification said.
NBE will also open the edit window of NEET PG 2021 application form during this period, allowing candidates to make certain changes including category and EWS status in it. The decision to open the edit window has been undertaken apparently on the demand of students who wanted the exam conducting body to incorporate the latest changes in the reservation system in NEET PG 2021. Candidates won’t e able to make other changes in the information provided in NEET PG application form 2021.
Earlier, the Centre approved changes in reservation policy in NEET PG 2021 admission from 2021-22 academic session. Now onwards, candidates of OBC category will be given 27 percent reservation in 50 percent All India Quota seats while EBC candidates will get 10 percent NEET PG reservation. Candidates of SC and ST have already a quota of 15 and 7.5 percent via AIQ.
NEET PG 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on September 11 in online mode. As per the NEET PG 2021 pattern, the test paper will comprise 200 objective questions and candidates will be given 3.5 hours to answer them.
