ICAI CA Final registration 2024 to reopen
ICAI has announced reopening of CA Final exam registration window for November 2024 session. The decision to reopen the CA Final registration window has been taken as a one-time measure in view of the requests made by students.
Students can fill the exam forms for CA Final and Post Qualification Course viz.: Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT-AT) for 2 (Two Days) September 11, 2024 (11.00 AM) to September 12, 2024 (11.59 PM). The two-day window for CA Final exam registration for November 2024 is with late fees of INR 600 or US$10).
In an official notification released today, the ICAI said, The students are aware that the Institute from this year has decided to conduct CA Intermediate and Foundation exams thrice a year which were earlier used to be conducted twice a year and accordingly the application window for applying online for the September 2024 Chartered Accountants Intermediate and Foundation examinations is shortened from 28 days to 17 days in order to accommodate the exam dates for the said examinations thrice a year and to adhere to timelines for various examination processes i.e. finalization of examination centres, evaluation of Answer Books and timely declaration of results. The same timeline for opening and closing of examination application window was also made applicable to Chartered Accountants Final and PQC examinations scheduled to be held in November 2024. The Institute hosted the announcement on 18th July 2024 to the prospective candidates of Chartered Accountants Final and PQC November 2024 exams to provide them sufficient time and opportunity to apply online well in advance.”
It further added that, “this timeline of 17 days for filling of online examination application form will be applicable for all forthcoming Chartered Accountants examinations and it is expected from the students to strictly adhere to the timelines of filling of examination application form.”

Yes, candidates can fill the CA form partly before and complete it later but they must ensure to complete the form filling and submission process before the last date so that their application is accepted. The ICAI provides late fee submission facility to candidates for a week, however candidates should submit the form at the earliest, to avoid paying the late fee. Until the ICAI CA exam form is submitted and fee amount is paid, the form will remain incomplete. Thus, candidates must comply by the registration deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam.
