BUMAT 2020 Exam Pattern Changed to IBT Remote Proctored Mode

BUMAT 2020 to be held in IBT Remote Proctored Mode

On the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune has announced the change in the mode of BUMAT 2020 exam. The test conducted for BBA and BCA admission is conducted in offline paper-pencil based mode. However, owing to the pandemic situation, this year BUMAT will be conducted through remote proctored Internet-based mode. Eligible and registered candidates will be able to appear for the exam from their respective homes or any location of their convenience. The university will conduct all the other undergraduate and postgraduate exams in this mode.

Candidates should be equipped with a computer system with webcam and internet connectivity. The computer should also have a microphone and webcam attached to it. As per the University directives, the computer system should have Windows 8 or Windows 10 operating system along with Google Chrome Version 80 or above and internet connectivity of 2 MBPS or above.

The university will also provide online mock tests for the candidates, which they will be informed through their registered email address and mobile numbers via SMS. Hence, candidates need to check their email and SMS regularly to stay updated regarding the BUMAT mock test.

The BUMAT 2020 exam will be held on August 18 and August 19. The BUMAT result will be declared on August 27. The application process was originally scheduled to conclude on July 30, which was later extended till August 7.

As per the BUMAT exam pattern, the duration of the exam is 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. There are four sections in the test, namely, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning/Logical Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The total number of questions and marks of the exam is 200.
