JIPMAT 2026 Notification Awaited; Registration to Start Soon at nta.ac.in
The National Testing Agency will soon release JIPMAT 2026 notification on its official website, nta.ac.in. Along with the release of notification, NTA will launch the JIPMAT 2026 website. Candidates will be able to fill JIPMAT application form by visiting the exam website. JIPMAT exam will act as the gateway to IPM admissions at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. JIPMAT 2026 registration is expected to be facilitated for a period of one month.
Candidates have been waiting for JIPMAT exam notification since the first week of February. In the last admission cycle, JIPMAT notification was released on February 11. JIPMAT 2025 exam was scheduled for April 26. With the delay in the release of JIPMAT application form, the exam timeline may change. NTA may also decrease the duration of JIPMAT 2026 application window. Candidates will find JIPMAT information brochure on the official website, mentioning the IPM admission policy.
About JIPMAT 2026 Exam

For admission to MBA (or PGP) at IIM Bodh Gaya, the CAT test is usually conducted in November. Aspirants of IIM Bodh Gaya are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:
Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
NTA releases the JIPMAT exam form in the month of February. The registration window for JIPMAT closes within one month of the start date. Based on the previous year's trends, candidates find the last date to apply for JIPMAT exam after 30 days of the start date. IIM Jammu MBA admissions are done on the basis of performance of candidate in CAT followed by a WAT/PI round. Apart from the entrance test and interview performance, IIM Jammu also considers the academic record and work experience of the candidate.
The admission process if IIM Jammu MBA begins with registering for CAT on its official website. The candidates are required to select IIM Jammu PGP during the application process.
Aspirants who meet the minimum CAT percentile are invited to appear for the WAT/ PI round.
The final merit list is prepared considering the below mentioned components:
- CAT percentile- 40% Weightage
- Personal Interview- 30% Weightage
- Profile - 30%
Under profile section following things are considered:
- Academic profile: 10 marks (Class 10, Class 12, Graduation)
- Work Experience: 10 marks
- Diversity (Gender): 10 marks
JIPMAT exam is accepted for IPM admissions in IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. Candidates who pass Class 12 are eligible to appear for JIPMAT exam. As per the IIM Jammu admission policy, 70 per cent weightage will be given to JIPMAT scores with the remaining weightage equally divided for Class 10 and Class 12 performance. IIM Bodh Gaya is yet to release IPM admission policy 2026-31. JIPMAT exam will have questions from three sections, namely Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. All three sections of JIPMAT exam have 100 questions in total.
