SET 2026 application form will be released soon. The authorities will release the exact dates online. Students should wait for the official notification. 

The SET application form will be available online. There is no procedure to apply offline. The SET 2026 registration will be done on the official wesbite, i.e. set-test.org

SIU had announced the SET 2026 dates yesterday but have now removed the 2026 exam schedule. 

The SET application form will be filled and submitted online on the official website of SET. The digital application and admission process for the SET exam is done through email ID and mobile number. The same email ID and mobile number will be used for all communications regarding the SET exam. Hence, students must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the Online SET Exam Application Form are their own or that of their parents/guardians. The students need to provide their number along with their parent/guardian's number as an alternate mobile number. 

SET question paper 2026 will be divided into four sections, i.e. 

• General English
• General Knowledge
• Logical and Analytical Reasoning
• Quantitative Aptitude

The SET exam 2026 will be conducted on two dates. The exam will be conducted in the CBT test mode. The exam dates are:

• May 2, 2026
• May 10, 2026

Symbiosis SET 2026 exam will be conducted online in about 80 test cities across India. Check the table below to know the SET exam cities:

• During the SET application form filling, candidates can choose up to three test cities for the SET exam centre allotment.
• Test cities cannot be changed once the SET application form has been submitted.
• Details of the SET test centre will be mentioned on the SET admit card along with the date and time of the exam
• Candidates must note that they will have to visit the same test centre that has been allotted to them. They cannot change the centre on the exam day too. No change requests will be entertained.

As mentioned before, SET exam application form can be filled online only. Symbiosis SET form has two parts. Both parts of the application process are to be completed to apply for the exam. Students can pay the application fee online and also through a demand draft. 

The SET application form 2026 will be released online. Students have to fill the application form on the SET exam website of SIU. There is no provision of filling offline application. 

There have been no changes in the SET exam pattern and syllabus this year. The exam pattern and syllabus are the same as the previous year. Sessions 1 and 2 of the SET exam 2026 will be conducted in the computer-based test mode or CBT mode. The SET exam will be conducted for one hour from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The SET syllabus is divided into four sections, i.e. General English, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge. 

Typically there is no specific age limit for appearing in the SET exam. The eligibility criteria for SET exam may vary for different courses, but age is generally not a determining factor.

The students who are domiciled in Nagpur for five years or more and have completed Class 12 or equivalent from the Maharashtra Board will have a 25% seat reservation in the SIU colleges. They need to carry the following documents at the time of Personal Interview and WAT rounds to confirm eligibility:

• Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Students appearing for Class 12 boards are also eligible provided they submit a Bonafide certificate from the current institute along with a Class 10 mark sheet

Foreign nationals or international students applying for the SET exam should meet the general eligibility criteria for the SET exam, which means completing Class 12 or an equivalent degree from a recognised board or institution. However, specific undergraduate programmes may have additional requirements, and international students should carefully review the programme-specific SET exam eligibility criteria 2026 to ensure they meet the academic prerequisites.

In addition to the mandatory academic qualifications, international applicants also need to meet other requirements, such as obtaining a student visa to study in India, holding a valid international travel passport and meeting any language proficiency criteria.

The SET exam application fee 2026 can only be paid through online fee payment methods or Demand Draft.

1. Online Payment: The preferred mode of payment for the SET exam application fee is usually online payment, which can be done through Internet banking, debit card, or credit card, UPI or other banking wallets. Students can make the payment using the secure online payment gateway provided on the official website of the SET exam.

2. Demand Draft (DD): The students applying for the SET exam also have the option of paying the SET exam application fee through a Demand Draft (DD). They need to draw a Demand Draft from a nationalised bank in favor of the "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune. They will need to enter the DD details during the application process and submit the physical DD along with the application form to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at:

Please note: 25% of seats in all the SIU institutes are reserved for students of Nagpur domicile.

The academic eligibility criteria in the SET exam 2026 for the Differently Abled Candidates (DAC) is the same as the eligibility for the other candidates. However, SIU, Pune has made provision of reserving 3% of seats for Differently Abled Category candidates in all the programmes offered by all the SIU colleges. 

Candidates will however be required to acquire an ‘Authentication Certificate’ which will be authenticated by the Medical Board of Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre (SUHRC). Once the certificate is authenticated and found to be correct by the Medical Board, SUHRC, his/her eligibility will be certified under the DA category. This category of students is required to upload their Medical Certificate issued by a competent authority at the time of SET exam registration to ascertain the percentage of the disability.

Students must note that Symbiosis International University can reject the SET application form for certain reasons. Hence, they are advised to avoid the following mistakes:

• Do not upload blurred images
• Use a plain white background for the photograph
• Make sure to upload the images in the prescribed size and formats

• Open the SET official website in a new web browser

• Click on the Apply for SET exam

• Click on the 'Register' icon and read the Terms and Conditions and then check the disclaimer box

• Proceed to Part I of the SET exam application process where you need to fill in details such as the name of the applicant, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. 
• Now, upload the photograph of the applicant and choose the preferred test cities
• Verify the registered mobile number through one time password and proceed to pay the SET exam application fee 2025
• In part II of the SET exam registration form, applicants need to fill in the details such as communication address, nationality, and details of parents/guardians, and choose their preferred SET colleges
• To complete the SET exam registration process 2025, applicants need to pay the SET exam institute fee and complete the SET application process by submitting the filled SET exam application form 2025.

• The aspirant must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examinations in the relevant streams from a recognised board or university with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST category students).
• Candidates in Class 12 or awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply but they will have to submit a passing certificate.
• A candidate who has completed Class 12 or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
