10 Students Awarded Fully Funded Scholarships to Study at GIIS Singapore Under Global Citizen Programme

This year’s cohort includes eight students from various regions of India and two from the Middle East, all selected through a rigorous, multi-stage assessment process. Selection criteria included academic excellence, leadership potential, social impact, and problem-solving abilities.

Ten outstanding students from India and the Middle East have been awarded fully funded scholarships to pursue their senior secondary education at the Global Indian International School (GIIS) SMART Campus in Singapore.

The announcement was made during a grand felicitation ceremony held in Aerocity, Delhi, marking the 18th edition of GIIS’s flagship Global Citizen Scholarship (GCS) programme.

Launched in 2008, the GCS initiative aims to make world-class education accessible to high-achieving students from diverse backgrounds. Each scholar receives full coverage of tuition, boarding, lodging, and living expenses for Grades 11 and 12—amounting to an investment of ₹1 crore per student over two years. Scholars can choose between the CBSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) curricula offered at the Singapore campus.
