10 Students Awarded Fully Funded Scholarships to Study at GIIS Singapore Under Global Citizen Programme

This year’s batch includes eight students from different part of India and two from Middle East. All have been selected through a rigorous, multi-stage assessment process. 

Ten students from India and Middle East have been awarded fully funded scholarships to pursue their senior secondary education at Global Indian International School (GIIS) SMART Campus in Singapore.

Announcement was made during a felicitation ceremony held in Aerocity, Delhi, marking 18th edition of GIIS’s Global Citizen Scholarship (GCS) programme.

Launched in 2008, GCS makes education accessible to high achieving students coming from different backgrounds. Each scholar will get full tuition fee waiver, boarding, lodging, and living expenses for class 11 and 12, amounting to ₹1 crore per student over two years. Scholars can choose for CBSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) curricula offered at Singapore campus.

 2025 batch included eight students from different part of India and two from Middle East, all selected through multi stage assessment process. Selection criteria included academic excellence, leadership potential, social impact, and problem solving abilities.

“Global Citizen Scholarship goes beyond financial aid it’s about enabling students to become leaders and changemakers,” said Pramod Tripathi, Director Academic, Global Schools Group. 

 Nishtha Nirmita Mahanta from Moran Town, Assam, who is one of awardees shared her experince: “This opportunity has changed the course of my life. It’s more than just access to world-class education, it’s about being part of a community that inspires you to dream big and lead with purpose.”

“Each GCS recipient carries not just the dreams of their families but also the values of leadership, empathy, and excellence that define GIIS,” added Rajeev Koul, Deputy COO, Global Schools Group.
