Assam NMMC scholarship registration 2025 is available for students with family income less than or equal to INR 3.5 Lakh till November 20 at bidyarthi.co.in.
The Ministry of Education is inviting applications for the Assam National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) for the session 2025. Eligible students can apply for the Assam NMMS scholarship 2025 till November 20. The application form is available at bidyarthi.co.in. Before filling the scholarship forms, students are suggested to check the eligibility criteria announced by the authorities. Students must note that ineligible students will be disqualified from applying for the scholarship.
Assam NMMS 2025 Eligibility Criteria
As per the Assam NMMS eligibility criteria, students studying in government schools or government-aided schools with a family income of less than or equal to INR 3.5 lakh are eligible to apply. Besides, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and Kendriya Vidyalaya students are also eligible for the Assam National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme. However, these students will not be eligible for the grant.
Assam NMMS Application Fees 2025
Students who are willing to register for Assam NMMS 2025 have to pay the exam fees. The general category and OBC category students have to pay INR 200, while the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students have to pay INR 180 as registration fees.
“All Government and Provincialised schools must enrol a minimum of three students for the NMMS 2025 exam whose annual parental income is up to 3.5 lakh,” the notification reads.
Besides, the examination branch of the Directorate of Secondary Education will exempt the examination fee for the top three meritorious students in each school.
