The Andhra Pradesh government has permitted the re-admission of failed students of AP SSC and Inter, i.e. Class 10 and Class 12 to achieve a 100 percent gross enrollment ratio (GER). Guidelines have been issued by the state government for re-admission of failed or private candidates. Students taking re-admission have to write all the subjects in the public examinations, and in both appearances, the marks of the candidate whichever is higher will be considered. The certificates were issued to the students without mentioning categories like fail, compartmental, private, or star marks. All the students either passed in the first attempt or later will get the same pass certificate without any discrimination. All the re-admitted students are eligible for the entitlements like Jagananna Ammavodi, Jagananna Vidya kanuka, Jagananna Gorumudda, etc., as per their eligibility.

An official notice from the BIEAP read, “ In continuation to the circular under reference 1st cited, it is informed that the due dates for remittance of examination fees for First- and Second-Year Intermediate failed (Private Candidates) or discontinued students of both General and Vocational streams to appear for the ensuing Intermediate Public Examinations, March 2024 is extended up to 30- 11-2023.”
