Bihar Board Exam 2026:  The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the Class 10 (Matric) Annual Secondary Examination 2026 today, February 17, 2026. Reportedly, 15.12 lakh students with approximately 7.85 lakh girls and 7.26 lakh boys are expected to be appearing for the exams across 1,699 centres statewide. The BSEB class 10 exams 2026 timing has been divided in two shifts. The morning shift is from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm, and the afternoon shift is from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.Â

Reportedly, the Chairman has directed that strict actions will be taken against students who are found cheating. The Bihar government is following zero tolerance policy for BSEB class 10th board exam 2026. The BSEB 10th board exam timing 2026 is provided below:Â
- Morning Shift:Â 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM.
- Afternoon Shift:Â 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
BSEB Exam Day Guidelines for 10th StudentsÂ
Students have to follow the below guidelines before and during the examination:Â
- Students must reach the centre at least one hour early for each subject. The main gates close 30 minutes before the exam starts (9:00 AM for the first shift and 1:30 PM for the second).
- Students must avoid wearing shoes and socks inside the examination hall.
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, and calculators are not allowed inside the exam hall.
- A printed BSEB 10th Admit Card 2026 and a valid school ID are required for entry.
- Visually impaired and disabled candidates are allotted an additional 20 minutes per hour to complete their paper.
