Admit Card Glitches Disrupt Bihar Board Inter Exams 2026, Class 12 Students Affected on First Day
The Bihar Board Class 12 exams have started from today (February 2). According to reports, many students could not appear for the exam for reaching late or had issues with their admit cards. Students complained that incorrect exam centres details are printed on their admit cards. Due to which, they could not reach on time.
This incident sparked protests at many exam centres across Bihar by students and parents. They urged the board to make corrections to prevent similar issues in upcoming exam days, to which the board said that the exam schedule will proceed as planned.
Bihar Board Intermediate 2026 exam is being conducted till February 13 across 1,762 examination centres. The board has set up 152 model examination centres too. Bihar Class 12 2026 exam timings are 09:30 AM to 12:45 PM and 02:00 PM to 05:15 PM. On Day 1, Biology Paper and Philosophy was held in morning shift. Economics exam was conducted in afternoon shift.

No, the students are not authorized to download their BSEB class 12 admit card directly from the official website. Only schools are authorized to download the admit card of BSEB class 12 exams. Once released officially, schools can download the Bihar Board class 12 admit card from the official website of the board. After the admit cards are downloaded, the schools are required to distribute them to all the candidates. Students will be required to collect their BSEB class 12 admit cards from their respective schools before the deadline. However, private students can download the admit cards from the official website.
Bihar Board released the BSEB 12th admit card 2026 for the theory exams in and the students can obtain it before appearing for the final BSEB inter exam. It can be obtained online. It must be noted that the BSEB Inter admit card 2026 is released online only for schools and will remain uploaded on board's website. Students can download the dummy admit card from the official website of the board. Students must check the details published on the dummy admit card carefully.
Several candidates of Bihar Board Class 12 2026 exam were turned away at the gates and could not enter the examination halls due to errors in the admit card. Various exam centres including Patna, Samastipur, Begusarai, and Muzaffarpur, encountered problems. In some cases, students went to the wrong location due to mistakes in BSEB Inter admit card. Despite requests from students and parents, the exam centre officials denied entry once the gates were closed.

The board informed earlier that strict measures are taken to ensure a fair examination process. Students are done two levels of frisking at entry points. Magistrates have been appointed and police personnels are deployed at exam centres. CCTVs surveillance and videography are done to monitor the exams. The boards also asked the students to report well before the reporting time. They also said that late entry is not be allowed.
