Following the reports of technical glitches in CBSE 12th revaluation portal, Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan issued instructions to engage IIT experts to address the technical challenges.Β 

The team of professors and technical experts from IIT Madras and Kanpur has been deputed to examine all glitches reported since the announcement of this year’s post-examination revaluation services. This has been implemented to ensure a glitch-free re-evaluation process.

The expert teams will implement focused technological improvements of the systems and technical workflows. It will also examine portal stability and server performance, along with taking corrective measures to ensure that login authentication/ user access systems/ payment gateways are accurate and in order.

The Minister also spoke with the Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, to discuss the recent technical and payment-related issues being faced by students during the CBSE post-result and re-evaluation process. It has been decided that four PSBs-SBI, BOB, Canara Bank, and Indian Bank will assist the board in strengthening its payment gateway and necessary integration with the post-examination services portal.

The banks will enable CBSE to put in place robust payment protocols to ensure timely payments, address payment glitches, automatic refunds for excess payments, if any. The Education Minister has directed CBSE for a complete overhaul of their Payment Gateway System.

Will CBSE extend the Deadline to Apply for the answer sheet photocopy?

Today is the last date to apply for a scanned answer sheet photocopy. On the final day, too, students are facing technical problems. As IIT experts have been roped in to examine technical challenges, this might take time to get resolved. There are many who are still not able to apply. It is expected that the board might extend the deadline to apply for a photocopy of the answer sheet. As per the CBSE’s notice on revaluation, the portal will remain open till 11.59 pm.
