CBSE Board Exams 2026 in Middle East Updates
CBSE Board Exam 2026: After reviewing ongoing situation in several Middle Eastern countries, Central Board of Secondary Education has announced major changes in schedule for CBSE Class 10 and 12 students appearing from that region. The decision comes in continuation of earlier circulars issued on March 1 and 3, 2026.
The Board stated that the situation in countries including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates has been carefully assessed before taking the latest decision regarding the ongoing CBSE board exams.
CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2026 Cancelled
The board has decided to cancel several Class 10 exams scheduled for students appearing from the Middle East region. All Class 10 exams scheduled from March 7 to 11, 2026, have been cancelled. CBSE board exams 2026 that were earlier postponed on March 2, 5, and 6 will also remain cancelled.
CBSE has clarified that the method for declaring CBSE results of Class 10 students in Middle East will be announced separately. Further details regarding the evaluation process will be shared in due course.
CBSE Class 12 Exam 2026 on March 7 Postponed
For class 12 students, the board has postponed the exam scheduled on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The revised exam date will be announced later after further assessment of the situation.
CBSE has informed that it will review the situation again on March 7, 2026. Based on the assessment, the board will issue fresh directions regarding Class 12 exams scheduled from March 9, 2026 onwards.
Advisory for CBSE Board Students
The board has advised all Class 12 students appearing from the Middle East region to stay in regular contact with their respective schools. Students should also follow official announcements and updates issued by CBSE to remain informed about any changes in the examination schedule. CBSE has assured students and parents that further updates will be issued after reviewing the situation in the affected countries.
