CBSE 10 Result 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education has issued an important notification regarding the assessment scheme for declaration of CBSE class 10 results for students in Middle East region. The decision comes after CBSE cancelled some exams earlier due to prevailing conditions in the region. As per official circular dated March 5, 2026, CBSE had cancelled some class 10 exams in Middle East countries including
- Bahrain
- Iran
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates
According to CBSE, exams scheduled between February 17 and 28 were conducted successfully. During this period were completed. Additionally, 16 language papers and 22 skill subject exams were also conducted. During this period, students appeared in these subjects, including
- Languages
- Science
- Mathematics
- Skill-based subjects
Different Categories of Students Identified
Based on number of exams attempted, students have been divided into categories
- Students who appeared in all examinations
- Students who appeared in 4 subjects
- Students who appeared in 3 subjects
- Students who appeared in 2 subjects
- Private candidates registered under compartment category
CBSE 10th Result 2026 Preparation Criteria
The board has clarified how CBSE 10th results will be prepared for each category:
- Students Appearing in All Subjects: Their results will be declared based on actual performance in all examinations.
- Students Appearing in 4 Subjects: CBSE 10th Results will be calculated using best three performing subjects and marks for remaining subject will be awarded accordingly.
- Students Appearing in 3 Subjects: Results will be prepared based on performance in appeared subjects, while marks for missing subjects will be assigned as per Board policy.
- Students Appearing in 2 Subjects: Marks will be based on performance and for remaining subjects, the Board will apply its assessment criteria.
Special Provision for Old Batch Students
For students registered in 2025 or earlier with only up to 2 subjects
- If they appeared in 1 or 2 exams, CBSE 10th result will be based on their performance
- If any exam was missed, they will get an opportunity to appear in CBSE Phase 2 Board exam 2026
Students who moved their exam centres to another country will have their CBSE class 10th results declared based on their performance in exams they appeared for.
CBSE 10th Result 2026 Date
Commonly asked questions
CBSE 10th result 2026 for Phase 1 has been announced on April 15, 2026 at around 4 pm. The Phase 2 result will be announced in June 2026. The result will be made available online only. Students can check their results by logging with the required credentials.
CBSE is expected to release the CBSE Class 12 result 2026 in the last week April or first week of May 2026. CBSE 10th result 2026 will be announced anytime shortly. Students can check their CBSE Result 2026 using their admit card roll no, DOB, the center, and school number.
You will not get notification related to CBSE 10th result. The result is announced online. Students need to check it by logging with the required credentials.
CBSE has confirmed that class 10th results of Middle East students will be declared along with all other students. They will also get an option to improve their scores through the second Board exams, as per CBSE policy.
CBSE 10th Result 2026: Internal Assessment and Final Decision
Internal assessment marks already submitted by schools will be considered. No separate special exams will be conducted beyond CBSE’s policy framework. The final decision of the Board will be binding in all cases. CBSE has stated that the assessment scheme for Class 12 students in the Middle East region will be announced separately.
