CBSE Class 10th Second Board Exam 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education will open List of Candidates (LOC) submission window for Class 10 second board exam 2026 from today, April 16. Schools must complete CBSE 10 LOC registrations by April 22. In official circular, CBSE shared detailed guidelines for schools to upload students details.
LOC submission process has been structured in phases. The first phase, beginning today, allows schools to submit it along with fee payment until April 20, 2026. Second phase is for completing submissions and payments. A final window with late fees will remain open from April 21 to 22, after which no corrections, additions or extensions will be permitted.

Students who have passed CBSE main Class 10 exams can opt to improve their performance in up to three subjects like science, mathematics, social science and languages. Those placed in CBSE 10th compartment will continue under same status. As many as 1,47,172 students are placed in compartment.Β
CBSE exam fee is INR 320 per subject for students in India and Nepal. For students appearing from other countries, fee is INR 1100 per subject. A late fee of INR 2,000 will apply during final submission window. Payments must be made online through debit or credit cards, NEFT, RTGS, UPI or net banking. Offline payment modes are not accepted.
CBSE 10th Second Board Exam 2026
CBSE second will be conducted based on same syllabus as main 2026 exams. Also, no corrections will be allowed once LOC is submitted. If any student does not appear after paying fee, their main exam result will be treated as final. Facilities for Children With Special Needs will continue only for those already registered, while sports category students can participate if they have approval. Students in Essential Repeat category are not eligible to apply.
