CBSE Date Sheet 2026 OUT! The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the tentative CBSE time table Class 10th, 12th 2026 on the official website- cbse.nic.in. The Phase 1 of CBSE 10th board exams 2026 is scheduled between February 17 and March 9, 2026 while CBSE 10th exams 2026 Phase 2 will be held between May 15 and June 1, 2026. CBSE 12th exams 2026 will be conducted only once between February 17, 2026 and April 9, 2026. 

CBSE Date sheet 2026 - Why so early?

This year, the Board has released the CBSE Datesheet almost 4.5 months before the commencement of the exams, the earliest ever! The Board shared certain reasons for deciding to release the time table in September. Let us read them below:

• It will help students create their study plans to perform well in board exams.
• Schools can align their academic and administrative activities, including the deployment of teachers for exams and evaluation duties.
• And so that teachers can plan their personal schedules, including their vacations, with clarity.
• The final CBSE date sheet 2026 will likely be released in the second week of November 2025.

CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2026 Phase 1

The CBSE Class 10 exams will be held in offline mode. All students must appear for the CBSE Class 10 time table 2026 Phase 1 exams. Appearing for Phase 2 exams is optional. Students can choose to retain their best scores of the two exams.
