CBSE has issued a stern warning to students and parents against using unauthorised sources claiming to offer โquickโ duplicate mark sheets, certificates, or corrections. The Board has urged everyone to rely solely on its official website and verified channels to avoid misinformation or financial loss.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cautioned students, parents, and stakeholders against relying on unauthorised sources claiming to provide quick services for the issuance of duplicate mark sheets, certificates, and document corrections.
In a statement, CBSE said it had received reports about certain platforms circulating misleading and unauthentic information regarding such services. The Board in a statement has clarified that these entities are neither affiliated with nor authorised by CBSE, and warned that using their services could lead to misinformation, financial loss, or other serious consequences.
The Board emphasised that all official and accurate information on 'duplicate' document issuance, corrections in certificates or other exam related records, and any student or examination-related services is available only on the official CBSE website, www.cbse.gov.in, or through its regional offices and verified communication channels.
CBSE in its notice has also stated it will not be responsible for any issues arising from information spread by unofficial or third-party sources. The advisory, issued in public interest, urges the public to follow only official notifications for authentic guidance on document-related matters.
