Delhi School Admission 2025: The Directorate of Education, Delhi, has announced the schedule for the second cycle of online Delhi School admissions 2025 for classes Nursery to XII in government and government-aided special schools for the ongoing academic session. The registration window will open on June 20 at 5 pm and remain active until July 5 at 5 pm. Parents can access the registration form through the Education Department’s official website.
Parents Advised to Check Class-Wise Vacancies before Applying
The official circular issued on Thursday emphasized the importance of parents checking class-wise seat availability before filling out the admission form. It also urged parents of students already enrolled in government or aided schools to consult their respective schools for re-admission or transfer procedures through the online portal.
Document Submission and Verification from July 7 to July 10
Following successful registration, parents are required to submit the necessary documents for verification at the concerned government or aided special school during school hours between July 7 and July 10.
Draw of Lots Scheduled for July 11 in Case of Excess Applicants
In situations where the number of eligible applicants exceeds available seats, a draw of lots will be conducted at the school level on July 11 at 11 am. The circular stated the draw will take place in the presence of school management and parents to ensure transparency.
Final Admission Lists to be Submitted and Published
Heads of special schools will forward the final list of selected candidates to the Inclusive Education Branch (IEB) by July 14. The consolidated list will then be uploaded on the department’s website on July 16 for public viewing.
Admission Completion and Waiting List Consideration
The admission process will conclude by July 18 for students selected in the second cycle. Students placed on the waiting list may be considered for admission from July 19 to July 21 if any vacancies arise during this period.
