The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has published the Goa SSC exam guidelines 2026 for students appearing for the Goa SSC exam 2026. The Goa board will conduct the Goa SSC exam 2026 from March 13 to April 9, 2026. Students can check the Goa board official website - gbshse.in/ for the Goa SSC Guidelines 2026.
The Goa board circular says, " All the Candidates including repeater candidates will have to follow the subjects listed for this academic year that is 2025-2026 as per Circular No. 66 dated 10/10/2025. The Scheme of 7th Subject has been discontinued and the present scheme as per the circular No 61 dated 01/10/2025 will be applicable. To get the benefit of the above scheme the students have to answer the four Skill based subjects (Theory and Practical). The theory paper for Physical Education and NSQF subjects will be conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. And the practical part should be answered from the last school attended. IDA and Art Education the Theory and the Practical component also should be answered from the last school attended to avail the benefit of the compensation scheme.
The Grade secured in the school assessment subjects to be forwarded to the Board. To avail the compensation scheme in a maximum of two subjects, a candidate must secure a minimum of 10% marks in the external theory component and the Board practical component, whenever applicable. Accordingly if the external theory component carries 80 marks, the candidate must score at least 08 marks, if it carries 70 marks, a minimum of 07 marks is required. Similarly, for a Board practical component of 20 marks, the candidate must secure at least 02 marks. These criteria shall apply to Sport person. However, the requirement of securing a minimum of 10% marks in the external components shall not be applicable to skill based subjects or school based assessment subjects."
