The Gujarat Board exams will be held from February 26 to March 18, 2026. The Board has released its action plan for the upcoming examinations.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has released the action plan for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams starting on February 26, 2026. The board exams will conclude on March 18, 2026.
According to the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board's latest action plan, this marks an increase of 97,000 candidates as compared to last year.

For Class 10 board exams, out of the total, 907,175 students will appear at 1,006 centres in 87 zones statewide. For Class 12 Science stream, a total of 119,263 students have registered while 501,286 have registered for Commerce stream.

Class 12 Science exams will be held at 156 centres. About students with disabilities 4,877 students are registered for Class 12 Commerce exam and for Science stream there are 2,293 students with disabilities.

Guidelines To Be Followed At Exam Centres

Following are the instructions for exam centres:

  • Students must bring valid hole-punched tickets for entry to exam centres.
  • Only squad members can carry mobile phones at exam centre. No students and staff will be allowed with phone inside the exam centre.
  • Any literature or unauthorised material brought needs to be deposited at remorse boxes before entering.
  • The Board said that CCTV recordings will be maintained at the centre.
  • Students should reach at least half an hour before the exam.
  • They must avoid wearing shoes and socks during exam.
  • Class 12 students can bring a simple calculator however Class 10 students are not allowed to use calculators during exam.
  • They cannot bring electronic watches, mobile phones and other such gadgets.
