Karnataka SSLC 2021 exams are scheduled to be conducted in the third week of July 2021 only for two papers.
The Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has said that the Karnataka Class 10 exams will only be conducted if the situation of COVID-19 is conducive. The Karnataka CM assured that students and their parents need to panic over the announcement of the examination. He assured that no students appearing for Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021 would be failed.
Earlier, State Education Minister Suresh Kumar on June 4 announced that the Karnataka SSLC exams will be conducted in the third week of July as two papers-- one for core subjects and another for languages. The core subjects include science, maths and social sciences. While announcing, the minister said that the government would allocate more than 6,000 centres for the examination. Only 1 student would be seated on a desk, he highlighted. Further, all the invigilators or teachers on duty would be vaccinated before the examination.
All the students will have to wear N95 masks and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued last year by the state government will be followed, the minister said. “We are not doing these exams to fail anybody,” he added.
The Chief Minister also said that the lockdown in the state would not be lifted until the positivity rate comes below 5%. So, it is highly likely that the Class 10 exams will be cancelled. Students must keep visiting the official website of the state board to keep themselves updated.
