Karnataka SSLC Exam Pattern 2026: The  Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) released the Karnataka SSLC Exam Pattern 2026 on the official website - kseab.karnataka.gov.in/. Students can check the Karnataka 10th Exam Pattern 2026 on official website. Exam pattern helps students to know the final format of the question paper as well as the marking scheme. The students can check blue print of SSLC 2026 Karnataka PDF on the official website. Students are recommended to download the blue print of SSLC 2026 Karnataka Maths and other subjects. Karnataka SSLC Exam Pattern 2026 and Grading System for Class 10

For the SSLC Class 10 exams, the students have to appear for three languages and three core subjects. The three languages are the First Language, Second Language and the Third Language. The three core subjects are Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Along with these, there are alternative subjects for students with a learning disability. All the papers are for three hours. Students should go through the Karnataka SSLC syllabus 2026 to know the topics properly to achieve good score in karnataka SSLC results.

Languages: The students have to appear in three languages. There is a wide range of choices in the languages which the students can choose. For the Language Paper I, students can choose from Kannada, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and Urdu. For Language Paper-II, students have a choice between Kannada and English. For Language Paper III, students have to choose from Hindi, Kannada, English, Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, Konkani and Tulu. 

Those who score 80 to 90 percent marks are awarded with A grade. B+ grade is given for those who achieve 70 to 80 percent marks. B grade is given for 60 to 70 percent marks. C+ grade is given for those who achieve 50 to 60 percent marks. C grade is given for 35 to 50 percent marks. Students need to score minimum 219 marks out of 625 to clear Karnataka SSLC exam.

Important Resources and Books

  1. This is a regular educational board that requires 75% attendance to appear for the examination. The students need to be regular in attending their classes. Regular attendance ensures that the students can understand their syllabus and also clear any doubts which they have as far as any subject is concerned. Teachers serve as a great source of guidance in their subject area. Students can also take the help of their peers.
  2. Students can also attend coaching classes or private/group tutoring to get a better grasp and practice in their weak subjects. Note that coaching and extra classes are not the replacement to school, just complementary to it. Coaching classes can only give additional help and practice, not make the student study. 
  3. Previous Years Papers are available on the Karnataka SSLC official website: kseeb.kar.nic.in. They are a great resource for practising and getting familiar with the paper pattern. Papers are available for all the subjects. Annual/Supplementary, as well as model question papers, are available on the website.
  4. The textbooks provided by the state board are also a resource to study from. The books are issued and approved by the board itself and covers the entire syllabus. Study the textbooks thoroughly and do not skip anything. Be fully prepared for the exam.
  5. There are also several reference books which the students can refer to. The study material provided by the coaching institute can also help. Know your syllabus by heart so that you know what to study. However, do not overburden yourself with too much study material.  

SSLC Exam 2026: Guidelines

Students should follow the instructions for the SSLC exam 2026 Karnataka. They should never forget to carry the SSLC Hall Ticket 2026 to the exam hall.
