Karnataka SSLC Exam Pattern 2026: Check Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The first language paper has 100 marks written exam. The rest of the subjects have 80 marks written exam and 20 marks internals. SSLC Class 10 students have to appear for three languages and three core subjects. The three languages are the First Language, Second Language and the Third Language. The three core subjects are Mathematics, Science and Social Science. All the papers are for three hours. 

Karnataka SSLC Exam 2026 is being held from March 18 to April 1, 2026 tentatively. The Karnataka board released the final Karnataka SSLC exam 2026 time table in January 2026. Students should refer to the books prescribed by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) to cover the entire Karnataka SSLC syllabus 2026. Students should learn the text books provided by the Karnataka board thoroughly. There is no need to refer to other books to learn for the SSLC exam. The questions for Karnataka SSLC exam 2026 will be completed based on the text books provided by the Karnataka Education board. In Karnataka, Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) conducts the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination every year in the month of March and April. The SSLC exams are conducted at the state level in three languages and three core subjects including are Science, Social Science, and Mathematics. Students can join for Plus two course after the 10th grade. Those who do not wish to go for 12th can join for Diploma engineering courses, ITI, poly technic courses, Diploma in hotel management, Diploma in fashion technology, Diploma in pharmacy etc. Even though there are so many Diploma courses, students are advised to complete 12th grade and then join degree course for better career growth.
