Kerala Plus Two Exam 2026: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education will be conducting Kerala Plus Two exam from March 6, 2026, for regular second-year (class 12) students. Nearly, 4.5 lakh students in Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams are expected to appear for DHSE Kerala 12th board exam 2026. They are advised to reach centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of Kerala Plus Two board exam 2026. As per schedule, DHSE 12th exam will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM (subjects without practicals). Whereas, subjects with practicals (except Biology & Music) will be held from 9:30 to 11:45 PM. 

Kerala Plus Two Exam 2026 Important Regional Update: Gulf Centre Postponement

Due to security concerns in parts of West Asia, especially affecting students appearing in Gulf country centres, the government has postponed Kerala Plus Two exams originally scheduled for March 5 and 7 in those regions. Revised dates will be announced later. Students impacted by this decision have been advised to apply through their schools if they face difficulties reaching the exam centre. This postponement applies only to selected Gulf centres and does not affect the schedule of exams within Kerala or Lakshadweep.

Kerala Plus Two Exam 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

To ensure fairness and smooth conduct of exam, students should carefully follow these

  • Students must carry their Kerala Plus Two hall ticket on every exam day. No one should enter the exam hall without it.
  • They also need to carry their school ID card.
  • Reach exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to complete entry formalities.
  • They will likely be given a short reading time before the writing session starts,use this time wisely to plan answers.
  • Carry required stationery items like pens, pencils and erasers.
  • Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
  • Students should hand in answer sheets and other exam materials only to the invigilator.
