Kerala Education Department has informed that it would limit the grace marks offered to students. The department has decided to set the limit to 30 marks for SSLC, Plus Two and Vocational Students for the 2022-23 session.

Kerala SSLC, Plus Two Grace Marks limited to 30! As per official notification, the Kerala Education Department would limit the grace marks offered to SSLC students. The Kerala education department has decided to set the limit to 30 marks for SSLC, HSE and Vocational Students for the 2022 - 23 session. Those who scored A, B and C grades in arts festivals, science fairs and other competitions will be given 20, 15 and 10 marks, respectively. Scout and Guides Rashtrapathi award winnwers will get 25 marks.

As per the notification, those students who have participated in more than one co-curricular event will be eligible to claim grace marks only for the event in which they have scored maximum marks. The order was released by the Education Department last week after multiple complaints were sent to the department stating that high-performing students had been overtaken by students who got high grace marks. The online entry for grace marks can be done by schools through the website of Pareeksha bhavan from April 24 to April 28, 2023.
