Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025 Revised Schedule

Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025 After a brief pause caused by technical glitches, the Maharashtra Class 11 admission process for 2025 is all set to resume. The First-Year Junior College (FYJC) admission portal will reopen on May 26, giving students another chance to apply online through the official website — mahafyjcadmissions.in.

The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department recently updated the FYJC 2025 admission schedule, providing much-needed clarity for students and parents who had been waiting after the portal faced issues on its first day.

What Happened and What’s Next?

The FYJC admission process officially kicked off on May 21, but shortly after, the website ran into technical problems. Many students couldn't complete their registrations. To fix this, the department temporarily shut down the site and worked on making it more stable — especially for mobile users.

With those issues sorted, the application window will now be open from May 26 to June 3.

Mahrashtra FYJC Admission 2025: State-Wide Centralised Admission

You can now apply to junior colleges across Maharashtra, no matter which region you’re from — all through one platform. This change is expected to simplify the process and provide more choices for students.

In-house Quota Explained

There’s been a slight update to the in-house quota rules for Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025. According to the new guidelines, this quota will only apply if the school and junior college are run by the same management and located on the same premises.

In other words, if you studied in a school that shares its campus with a junior college run by the same management, you’re eligible to apply under the in-house quota.

Applying online is simple. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Visit mahafyjcadmissions.in
