MSBSHSE has announced that it is implementing strict measures, including CCTV surveillance and blacklisting centres with prior copying issues, along with providing student support through a YouTube channel and counsellors. Read below for more details.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will conduct the Maharashtra HSC, SSC exams 2026 between February 2 and March 18, 2026 in pen and paper format. Along with the dates, the board has shared a comprehensive strategy to conduct the exams with high-tech surveillance and expanded student support services.

Strict Anti-Malpractice Measures
To conduct "copy-free" Maharashtra Board examination 2026, the board has made CCTV surveillance mandatory in every single examination hall. Schools that fail to meet these requirements will risk losing their status as exam centres.
MSBSHSE has already blacklisted 107 examination centres that were flagged for irregularities or mass copying during the last exam cycle. To deter organised malpractice, the board will also deploy drone surveillance at sensitive locations and enforce Section 144 within a 500-metre radius of all centres.
Digital Support and Counselling
Noticing the immense academic pressure on students, the board has launched a dedicated YouTube channel, " Maharashtra State Board Pune," to provide direct guidance. The channel features videos on examination rules, common mistakes to avoid, and strategies for stress management.
Additionally, a network of state-appointed  counsellors has been made available to assist students and parents with exam-related anxiety between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Details regarding this are made available for download on the MSBSHSE official website.
