MSBSHSE is conducting Maharashtra SSC second and third language exam 2026 till 2 PM. Along with this Second or Third Language Composite Course is also being held till 1 PM.

Maharashtra SSC board exam 2026 will be held in one shifts on Feb 21. Students must check their class 10th admit card to know their exact shift timings for Maha SSC board exam. Check below shifts timings

If any discrepancy is found in the admit card such as incorrect name, subject code, or centre details students must immediately inform their school authorities. Corrections should be addressed before the next exam day to prevent complications at the exam centre.

The evaluation process begins soon after exams conclude. The board appoints trained examiners for centralised checking. Marks are awarded based on the official marking scheme to ensure fairness and consistency across all centres in Maharashtra.

Students are generally not permitted to leave exam hall before a minimum duration specified by the board, usually after one hour. Even after finishing early, candidates must follow invigilator instructions and submit answer sheets properly before exiting the hall.

The first 10 to 15 minutes are provided for reading question paper carefully. Students should not start writing answers during this reading time. They should check all sections, note internal choices, and plan the sequence of answering questions to ensure effective time management.

For 2026, MSBSHSE continued with existing Maharashtra SSC pattern and syllabus. However, students observed more focus on competency-based and application-oriented questions. Internal choices were provided in most sections, helping students attempt questions from their areas of strength while maintaining overall difficulty at a balanced level.

Students are allowed to carry their Maharashtra SSC admit card, blue/black ballpoint pens, pencils, erasers, geometry box (if required), and a transparent water bottle. Any electronic device or study material is strictly prohibited. Violation of rules may lead to cancellation of the paper.

For Maharashtra SSC exams, the board provides a re-evaluation or verification process after result declaration. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for photocopies of answer sheets and request rechecking within the prescribed timeline and fee structure announced by MSBSHSE.

Maharashtra SSC exam centres follow strict monitoring measures, including CCTV surveillance, flying squad inspections, and biometric verification in some locations. The board has instructed centres to prevent unfair means and ensure transparency during examinations.

Maharashtra class 10th exam pattern includes objective-type, short-answer, and long-answer questions as per the prescribed syllabus. 

Over 16.15 lakh students are expected to appear in Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate (SSC) class 10 board exams. 8,65,740 students appearing for exam are male, 7,49,736 students are female, and 13 students are transgender.

To pass Maharashtra SSC Board Exams 2026, students must secure at least 35% marks in each subject. Both theory and practical marks (where applicable) are considered. Students failing in one or two subjects may get an opportunity to appear for supplementary exams later.

As per initial reactions, Maharashtra Marathi question paper was reported to be moderate in difficulty. Most questions were from syllabus and similar to previous years. Grammar and writing sections were manageable, while a few comprehension questions required detailed reading and time management.
