MP Board Second Exam 2025: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has given some much-needed relief to students by extending the last date for applying to the MP Board Class 10 and 12 second exam 2025. Students who could not clear one or more subjects or were absent in the main MPBSE board exams 2025 now have time until May 31, 2025, to submit their applications online. You can fill out the form through the official MP Online portal at mponline.gov.in.
MP Board Second Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria
This second exam is a golden opportunity for students who:
- Were registered for the MP Board 10th or 12th main exam 2025
- Did not pass in one or more subjects
- Missed the exam due to unavoidable circumstances
The board is conducting this exam to help students save an academic year and get another shot at clearing their subjects.
MP Board Improvement Exam 2025 Application Also Open Until May 25
Students who passed their board exams but are not happy with their marks also have a chance to improve them. MPBSE has extended the deadline to apply for the improvement exam to May 25, 2025.
This also includes students who passed in some subjects but failed overall. They can reattempt the subjects they already passed to increase their chances of qualifying.
“All earlier instructions for filling out the online application for second exams in 2025 still apply,” the board stated in its latest notice.
When Will the MP Board Second Exams 2025 Be Held?
The Class 10 second exams will begin on June 17 with the Hindi paper, and the last exam, Social Science, will be held on June 26.
Class 12 second exams will run until July 5, ending with the Sanskrit exam.

Madarsa Recognition Renewal 2025-26 Also Begins
In other updates, the State Madarsa Board has opened the online application process for renewing Madarsa recognition for the academic session 2025-26. This process is also being conducted through the MP Online portal and will remain open from May 23 to June 30, 2025.
