The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) released the schedule for payment of exam fee for NIOS exam 2026 April for Learners of  Oct/Nov 2025. Last date to pay the exam fee without fine is Jan 22, 2026.
NIOS Exam 2026 Fee payment: The NIOS board has published a circular regarding the schedule for registration and payment of exam fee for NIOS Exam 2026 April for all registered learners of October/November, 2025 Examination. Those who are registered learners of October/November, 2025 can check the official website and register for the NIOS public exam 2026 April-May. All registered learners of Oct/Nov 2025 can pay the exam fee from 13 January to 22 January 2026, without late fee.
As per the NIOS circular, the learners of Senior Secondary Course must ensure compulsory gap of two years from the Block/Session and year of passing the Secondary Examination for the purpose of obtaining passing certificate. If the learner does not have the requisite gap of two years, he/she shall register only in maximum of four subjects (including the subjects already passed) for the forthcoming April/May, 2026 Examinations. The learners may therefore carefully select the subject(s) accordingly to register for the examinations. The requisite examination fee is to be paid only through online mode by visiting NIOS website: sdmis.nios.ac.in.Â

The last date for NIOS 12th April/May Exam fee was Jan 10, 2026 with late fee INR 1600 per learner. Students can check the details regarding the NIOS 12th exam fee payment 2026 on NIOS 12th application page. Admit card will be issue for those who paid the exam fee. Students can visit nios.ac.in for completing the fee payment process. They have to pay the fees online.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) began the registration process for the NIOS 10th, 12th public exam April-May 2026. Students appearing for NIOS board exam 2026 April-May are required to pay the exam fees through the official website, nios.ac.in. Students enrolled in stream 1, block 1 for March/April 2026 exam can pay the exam fee from Nov 21 to Dec 20, 2025 without late fee. They can do the fee payment from 21st December, 2025 to 31st December, 2025 with late fee INR 150 Per subject. With consolidated late fee INR 1600 Per learner, learners enrolled for April/May 2026 can pay from 01 January, 2026 to 10th January, 2026.
