NIOS Exam April 2026: Date Extended for Fee Payment till Feb 16

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has extended the last date for payment of exam fee for NIOS exam 2026 April for all Learners. Last date to pay the exam fee is Feb 16, 2026.

The NIOS board has published a circular regarding the extension of payment of exam fee for NIOS Exam 2026 April for all learners. All registered learners can pay the exam fee from Feb 10 to 16, 2026 with consolidated late fee of Rs. 1600/-. The exam fee portal will be opened till February 16, 2026 for deposit of fee. NIOS Board exam 2026 will be held in April-May 2026. The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will release NIOS 12th date sheet 2026 in March 2026. 

The circular says " The learners of Senior Secondary Course must ensure compulsory gap of two years from the Block/Session and year of passing the Secondary Examination for the purpose of obtaining passing certificate. If the learner does not have the requisite gap of two years, he/she shall register only in maximum of four subjects (including the subjects already passed) for the forthcoming April-2026 Examinations. The learners may therefore carefully select the subject(s) accordingly to register for the examinations. The requisite examination fee is to be paid only through online mode by visiting NIOS website: sdmis.nios.ac.in".
