The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) released the schedule for payment of exam fee for NIOS exam 2026 April for Learners of Oct/Nov 2025 whose results were withheld under RL tag. Last date to pay the exam fee is Feb 12 with late fee.
NIOS Exam April 2026 Fees: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released a circular regarding the schedule for registration and payment of exam fee for NIOS Exam 2026 April for learners who had appeared in NIOS October, 2025 Public Examination but the results were withheld under RL tag. They can check the official website and register for the NIOS public exam 2026 April-May. They can pay the exam fee till Feb 12 with late fee INR 1600.
The circular says ' The learners of Senior Secondary Course must ensure compulsory gap of two years from the Block/Session and year of passing the Secondary Examination for the purpose of obtaining passing certificate. If the learner does not have the requisite gap of two years, he/she shall register only in maximum of four subjects (including the subjects already passed) for the forthcoming April, 2026 Examinations. The learners may therefore carefully select the subject(s) accordingly to register for the examinations. The requisite examination fee is to be paid only through online mode by visiting NIOS website: sdmis.nios.ac.in."
