Odisha Extends Scholarship Application Deadline under Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana 2025-26

As per the official notification, students can now apply online from October 26 to November 4, 2025.

The Higher Education Department of Odisha has extended the dates for online applications and validation of scholarships under the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana for the academic year 2025-26. The extension covers both fresh and renewal students.

As per the official notification, students can now apply online from October 26 to November 4, 2025. Heads of institutions and principals can validate scholarship applications till November 14, 2025. For the Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana, validation at the district welfare office level will continue till November 21, 2025.

The extended timeline applies to the following schemes:

UG Merit Scholarship

PG Merit Scholarship

Technical and Professional Merit Scholarship (e-Medhabruti)

Vyasa Kabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme

Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana

The department has also made it compulsory for students to upload their documents through DigiLocker from this academic year. Those unable to upload through DigiLocker can use the Skip DigiLocker Option available on the OSSP portal until November 1, 2025.
