Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 Registrations Touch 2.5 Crore as Board Exam Season Nears

Pariksha Pe Charcha is held annually as a direct interaction between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and students appearing for board exams. In earlier editions, Prime Minister has addressed issues such as exam-related stress, time management, expectations from parents and choices after school.

Students from Classes 6 to 12 along with teachers and parents can register for PPC 2026 through official Innovate India–MyGov portal.

Registrations for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 have gone past 2.49 crore with students accounting for bulk of entries, according to latest figures available on MyGov platform on December 25.

Data shows that out of 2,49,57,918 total registrations, as many as 2,32,77,886 are students. Teachers have submitted 14,07,723 registrations, while 2,72,309 parents have also signed up for programme.

This increase in registration for PPC 2026 comes at a time when schools are preparing for upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board exams, which are scheduled to begin in February across major boards including CBSE.

How Students Can Register for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026

Students from Classes 6 to 12, along with teachers and parents can register through official Innovate India–MyGov portal.

  • Log in using basic details.
  • Complete a short MCQ-based activity.
  • Submit questions meant for the interaction.
  • Only registered participants are considered for selection.

PM Modi’s Role in Pariksha Pe Charcha

Its format has remained informal, with questions taken directly from students from all over India.

Students Continue to Dominate Participation

Students form more than 90 per cent of total registrations this year as well, continuing a pattern seen in previous editions. 

The final date and format of the interaction are expected to be announced closer to event.
