Q: Β  How do you find the percentage of a Tamil Nadu 10th class result?
A:

Many students are unable to calculate the percentage of marks obtained in Tamil Nadu SSLC exams. Therefore, they can follow the steps below to calculate their percentage:

Step 1: Divide the obtained marks by the maximum marks

Step 2: Multiply the result by 100

Go through the example given below to understand the process of finding the percentage of marks.

Example 1: A student scored 1156 marks in the examination out of 1200 marks. Calculate the percentage of marks secured by the student. Go through the example given below to understand the process of finding the percentage of marks.

Solution:

Number of marks scored = 1156

Maximum marks = 1200

Percentage of marks= Marks obtained/Maximum marks x 100

Percentage of marks = (1156/1200) Γ— 100

Percentage= 0.9633…. Γ— 100

Therefore, the percentage of marks obtained is 96.3%

Q: Β  Will the Tamil Nadu Board release the topper list along with Tamil Nadu SSLC result?
A:

No, the TN board will not release TN SSLC Toppers list. Last year, the board did not announce the TN SSLC Toppers list. They released the name of districts who achieved the highest percentage.
