UP Board Exam 2026: Geo-Tagged Exam Centres Added on App for Students
UPMSP Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for 2026 are scheduled to be held from February 18 to March 12, 2026.
Students appearing for the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams in 2026 will be able to locate their examination centres more easily, with Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) introducing geo-tagging of exam centres on its official mobile application.
As part of this initiative, examination centres have been mapped using verified GPS coordinates, allowing students to access accurate directions directly through the app. The feature will show the exact location, distance, route options and nearby landmarks, helping candidates reach their allotted centres without confusion.
This move is expected to benefit students in districts where schools have similar names or where centres are located in less familiar areas. Board officials said the step is aimed at reducing last-minute delays, incorrect navigation and stress on examination days.
