UP Board Result 2020 likely to be released by mid-May, know more here

The UP Board is likely to continue with the evaluation process for classes 10 and 12 after the nationwide lockdown officially ends on May 3, if not extended further. Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of the State, said that the state board will resume with the UP Board 10th and 12th evaluation process from May 4. He also said that the UP Board 10th Result 2020 and UP Board 12th Result 2020 are expected to be declared by mid-May, if teachers are able to complete the evaluation process by then.

The Deputy Chief Minister shared the details in a virtual meeting of the state education ministers with the Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on April 28.
Earlier, the UP Board Result was scheduled to be declared on April 24, however, the evaluation process was halted midway due to the nationwide lockdown which was imposed on March 25 and has now been extended to May 3, 2020. It was also reported that the evaluation process would begin by April 25, but the same was refuted by the state board.

If the lockdown is not extended further and the evaluation work starts on May 4, 2020, the board will take around 2 weeks to complete the checking of answer sheets and compile the UP Board Result 2020. Going by the same, the UP Board will be able to declare the UP Board Result around May 25, 2020.

This year, approximately 5.61 million students had appeared in UP Board 10^thand UP Board 12^th examinations 2020. Out of which, 2.586 million students had appeared for the class 12 examination while 3.025 million had written the class 10 examination, as per a report.
