The UP Board Class 12 Result 2022 has been released today, June 18 at 4 pm. The UP Board Result 2022 Class 12 has been released at upresults.nic.in. This year, a total of 85.33% candidates have passed the UP Board class 12th examination.

The UPMSP successfully conducted the UP Board 12th exams from March 24 to April 12, 2022.
As per the latest developments, the state board will be awarding one extra mark for good handwriting. Moreover, it will give full marks in all the questions that were asked out of syllabus.

About UP Board 12th

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducts the UP Board 12th examinations every year in March and April. The UP Board Class 12 exams are held in two slots, morning from 8 am to 11:15 am and evening from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The practical examinations will be conducted prior to the theory examinations. The schedule for the same will be notified by the school authorities.

Students must be enrolled in Class 12 of a school affiliated to UP Board to be eligible to give Class 12 Board examinations. They must have also filled the examination form and submitted it along with the required documents and examination fee before the last date.

The UP Board was set up in the year 1921 as an act of the United Provinces Legislative Council. The Education Council is the highest institution in the world to conduct high school (10th class) examinations. The UP Board is headquartered in Prayagraj, originally called Allahabad. The Board is Asia’s largest board in terms of the number of students appearing every year. At present, there are more than 22,000 secondary schools recognized by the board and it conducts the examinations and prepares results of nearly 58 lakh students.

Students of UP Board UP Board Class 12 will be able to check their UP Board Result 2022 through the official website of the Board as well as via SMS services. More than 20 lakh students appear for the UP Board 12th exams every year.

Latest Updates

UPMSP begins with the revaluation process, soon after the declaration of the Results. Forms for the same are made available online for the students. Students can get their UP Board 12th Result 2021 answer sheets scrutinised or rechecked and re-evaluated, if they are unsatisfied with their marks. 

Students can apply for re-evaluation, re-totaling or can also get their answer scripts by demanding a photocopy after checking their UP Board Result 2022. The fee for all these options has increased by five times last year. As per the latest rules, to get one subject paper reevaluated, candidates will have to pay INR 500 instead of INR 100 earlier. With this, the UP Board’s reevaluation procedure is the costliest in the country.

Students who are unsatisfied with their marks can also apply for UP Board 12th Result verification soon after the UP Board Results are declared.

UPMSP Calendar for UP Board Exams 2022-23

UP Board Class 12 Exams 2023 will be conducted in March, as per the UPMSP academic calendar. The pre-board practical exams for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted in the third week of January 2023 across centres in the state. The pre-board written exam for students of classes 10 and 12 will be held between February 1 and 15. The result for class 10, 12 pre-board exam will be available between February 16 to February 28, 2022. 

The half yearly practical exam will be conducted by last week of September 2022 and the half yearly exams will be conducted in the second week of October 2022. The half yearly exam results will be uploaded on the school websites by November first week.

UP Board Class 12 Syllabus

Students preparing for the UP Board Class 12 examinations must go through the complete UP Board 12th syllabus and chalk out a study schedule according to the number of chapters.

UP Board 12th Passing Marks

UPMSP class 12 exams are held for a total of 100 marks. The UP Board class 12 exams are based on CCE Pattern, according to which, all the subjects having practicals will have the marks divided into 70 and 30, viz, 70 marks for the theory part of the exam, while 30 marks will be allotted to the practical exam. UP class 12 Grading system for both theory and practical and CCE valuation system followed by the State Board are specified in the following sections:

  • The marks obtained in practical subjects, sports, and physical education are added to prepare the final result of UP Board Intermediate
  • Minimum 33% of marks are needed to be scored by the Intermediate student of UP Board to pass the exams

How to calculate the UP Board GPA using percentage?

CGPA Formula = Sum of grade points obtained in subjects/number of subjects

First of all, candidates need to write grade points for each subject using the table given below.

Now, add the grades points of all the subjects

Divide the calculated grade point with the number of subjects, and the final value will be the overall UP Board GPA

The UP Board 12th result 2022 has been released on the official website of the state board on June 18 at 4 pm. Students will be able to check their UP Board 12th Result using their roll numbers.
