UP Pre-Board Exams 2026 for Class 10 and 12 Ongoing

UP Pre-Board Exams 2026: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is conducting UP pre-board exams for Class 10 and 12 students as part of their preparation for main UPMSP board exams 2026. Students must note that UP pre-boards are school-level exams conducted before final board papers to help them check their readiness and make improvements. 

As per schedule released, UPMSP pre-board exams is being held from January 8 in respective schools. Last date of UP pre-board exam 2026 is January 21 for classes 10th and 12th. UP board pre board exams 2026 are conducted by respective schools, they only decide subject-wise timings.

UPMSP Practical Exam Dates 2026 for Class 10 & 12

UP Board practical exams 2026 dates have already been released. The board has announced that UPMSP Class 12 practical exams 2026 will be held in two phases. Candidates can check table to know schedule for UP practical exams

No practical exam of UP board is being conducted on January 29 and January 30 due to UP Teacher Eligibility exam dates.  These practical sessions are conducted at school level under supervision and often include viva voce, project work, assessments and laboratory experiments.

UP Board Class 10 Practical Exam 2026 

For UP Class 10, practical exams or internal assessments for science practical/project work are generally conducted at school level, following guidelines from UPMSP. The class 10th exams are scheduled around late January or early February, aligning with UP board exam calendar 2026. 

Guidelines for Students & Schools for UP Pre-Board Exams 2026 

UPMSP has released instructions to ensure fairness, transparency and smooth conduct of practical and pre-board exams:

Mandatory Attendance 

Students must appear for UP pre-board and practicals exams. Absence without any valid reason may lead to ineligibility for final UP board exams 2026. 

Conduct & Transparency Rules

Practical answer sheets are to be preserved for at least one year after exams to allow verification if needed. Boards may conduct random audits of schools to maintain assessment integrity. Only two batches per day, with a cap on student numbers, are allowed.

Malpractice Prevention

UPMSP emphasises strict action against malpractices or unfair means during preboard and practical exams. In extreme cases, provisions under Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act may be invoked.

Students must make sure project work is complete and well documented before UP Board 2026 practical exam dates.

UP Board Class 10, 12 Exam Dates 2026 

After completion of pre-boards and practicals exam, UPMSP will conduct class 10th and 12th board exams. Earlier, UPMSP released UP board time table 2026 for classes 10, 12 at official websit upmsp.edu.in. As per schedule released, board will conduct the UP Board exams 2026 for classes 10 and 12 between February 18 and March 12, 2026. UP Board admit cards will be distributed by schools or private students can download it through official UPMSP portal.
