The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducted the UP Board compartment exam 2026 on Tuesday, July 28. A total of 42,078 students had registered for the high school and intermediate papers. Of these, 39,543 appeared and 2,535 stayed absent. At the high school level, 20,851 students were registered. Of them, 19,290 appeared and 1,561 were absent. At the intermediate level, 21,227 students were registered, out of which 20,253 appeared and 974 students were absent.

When Will the Result Be Declared

The UP Board compartment result 2026 is expected in August 2026, within a few weeks of the exam. Last year compartment exam was held on July 26, 2025 and the result was declared on August 6, 2025. Students will be able to check their result on upmsp.edu.in, results.upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in using their roll number and district.

Students who clear their compartment subject will be declared passed for the 2026 session. The marks they already secured in their other subjects are carried forward. Those who do not clear it will have to appear again in the next annual board exam. The high school paper also carried improvement candidates, who had already passed the main exam and sat again to raise their marks in one subject.
