The first phase of UP Board Intermediate Practical Exams 2026 Started. The UPMSP has rolled out a fully digital system for uploading Class 12 practical exam marks this year, aiming to reduce errors and improve transparency through a double-entry verification process.
UP Board Class 12th Practical Exams 2026 Begins: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has begun the UP Board Intermediate (Class 12) practical examinations 2026, with a major focus on digital accuracy in marks submission. This year, examiners are required to upload UP Board 12th practical exam marks through a mobile application developed by the board.
UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh said that the online marks upload facility was introduced last year on a trial basis. Since the system was new at the time, examiners were asked to submit marks both online and offline to avoid any data loss. After its smooth implementation, the board has now made online UP Class 12th Practical Marks submission mandatory for the 2026 exams.
UP Board Class 12 Practical Exams 2026: New Digital System Aims to Improve Accuracy in Practical Marks
To minimise errors/mistakes, the app follows a double-entry system. Examiners can now upload marks for a group of up to 80 students at a time. Once the marks are uploaded on the app, the system automatically opens a second window for re-entering the same details. If any mismatch is found between the two entries, both records are shown on the screen which will allow the examiner to correct the mistake. The App will not accept incorrect or mismatched data. The aim of new system to make the UP Board class 12 practical examination process more transparent, accurate, and efficient.
Explaining another safety feature, Vishwanath Mishra, a computer teacher at Shivcharandas Kanhaiyalal Inter College, said that the app verifies the examiner’s location. When an examiner logs in from the examination centre, the app matches the live geo-location with the location already registered in the system.
Apart from marks submission, the board has also provided an online option for examiners to share feedback or raise complaints related to the practical exams. Examiners can log in to the official website at upmsp.edu.in using their user ID & password and submit suggestions through a dedicated section. They can also upload handwritten feedback via a browser. However, location verification is not required while submitting complaints or suggestions.
