If students face any difficulties while reaching their examination centres, they can call the helpline. The police officers will come for their help.

Besides this, ambulances will be stationed on important roads to provide quick response to students at the time of emergency. The state government is operating extra buses in Kolkata and the surrounding districts to help candidates reach exam centre on time. At least 20 extra buses will run on 15 different routes during the exams. The exams are being conducted from 10.45 am to 2 pm.
How Many Candidates are Appearing in WB Madhyamik 2026 Exam?
According to reports, a total of 9,71,340 candidates are appearing for WB Class 10 2026 exam. Last year a total of 9,69,425 took the exam. Out of which, 4,26,733 are boys and 5,44,606 are girls. The exam is being conducted at 2,682 examination centres across the state. A total of 945 are main examination centres and 1737 are sub-centres.

WB Madhyamik exams are held from 9:45 am till 1:00 pm. The exam timings were updated in 2024 from 11:45 am till 3:00 pm.
The WBBSE Madhyamik exams 2026 will be conducted in pen and paper format between February 2 and 12, 2026. The WB Madhyamik admit card 2026 will be released in the last week of January 2026. Students need to collect it from their schools respectively and carry it on all exam days, failing which they will not be allowed to write the exam.
In case you are unable to attend a WB madhyamik board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.

However, an invigilator can take you to the washroom because many students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exam.
