WB Madhyamik, HS results 2026 Releases Soon; Check Passing Marks
WBBSE & WBCHSE will soon announce WB Madhyamik & Uccha Madhyamik results. Students must score at least 34% marks to pass the WB 10th exam. To clear WB HS 2026 exam, students need to secure 30% in each subject.
West Bengal Council of Higher Education and West Bengal Board of Secondary Education will soon announce WB Madhyamik and West Bengal Board Uccha Madhyamik. The results will be announced at wbchse.wb.gov.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in. Students can check their results by logging with the required details. WB Madhyamik 2026 exam was conducted from February 2 to February 12, 2026. WBCHSE 2026 exam was conducted from February 12 to 27.
Over 7.10 lakh candidates appeared for WBCHSE exam in three categories across the state. Total 9,71,340 candidates appeared for West Bengal Madhyamik 2026 exam. Out of this, 5,44,606 are female candidates and 4,26,733 are male.
WB Madhyamik Passing Marks
West Bengal Madhyamik passing marks are prescribed by the board. Students must score at least 34% marks to pass the exam. For Theory papers, the passing marks are 30 out of 90. For practical papers, students need to score 3 out of 9. The table below shows the subject-wise passing marks.

WB HS Passing Marks
West Bengal Uccha Madhyamik passing marks is 30% in each subject. A student needs to secure 30 out of 100. For subjects without practicals, students should score 30 out of 100 in the written paper. For practical subjects, the theory paper is for 70 marks, and the remaining 30 is practical.
