WBBSE Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 Registration Deadline Revised. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced that the deadline to enroll for the West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 has been revised. The board will keep the online portal open from January 27, 2026 (12 pm) to January 28, 2026 (12 pm). Earlier, the board had announced that the enrollment portal would open on January 26, 2026 and will close on January 27, 2026 by 11 am.
All those students who could not register because of the school-level lapses must ensure they complete the registration on or before the deadline. The Board stated that many students did not get their admit cards because of several schools had reported lapses in the enrolment process. On January 24, 2026, the WBBSE released the WB Madhyamik admit card 2026 for all the registered students.
The Board further stated that it will take appropriate steps against all such schools and will issue the WB Madhyamik 2026 Hall Ticket for students who couldn't register on January 29 between 1 pm to 5 pm.
However, it must be noted that this is specifically for registered, continuing, or compartmental students who were eligible but failed to complete their enrollment through their school. It is mandatory that the candidate must have successfully passed their Selection/Test Examination with a minimum attendance of 70 per cent.
“The enrollment portal will be reopened so that no eligible examinee is deprived of the opportunity to appear in the examination,” the State Education Minister Bratya Basu stated. WBBSE Madhyamik exams 2026 will be conducted between February 2 and 12, 2026 in pen and paper format.
